Additional Tuition & Scholarship Information
Scholarships
Eighth graders who choose Mount St. Mary Academy as their first choice for high school are eligible for dozens of scholarships and awards we offer.
Some scholarships are application-based. These awards, which vary in value, recognize a variety of criteria, such as: leadership, service, grades, desire to attend Mount St. Mary, etc. Some also take financial need into account. All application-based awards are given to first-choice test takers after they complete the High School Placement Test in November. Students may apply for every scholarship for which they believe they are eligible, based on the stated criteria.
Other scholarships are awarded based on placement exam results. There is no separate application for these awards, and they vary in value from half tuition to partial tuition awards for all four years.
Note: Please use the MSM Admissions Office as a valuable resource in completing the Oishei High School Scholars Application.
Additional Discounts
Mount St. Mary Academy is dedicated to and firmly supports Catholic Education. A 25% discount will be applied to the tuition accounts of those families who have at least one parent who is a full-time employee at a Catholic Elementary School, a Catholic High School or a Catholic Church. Discounts are also given to families with more than one daughter attending our school. Discount determinations will be made at the discretion of the School Administration in conjunction with the policies set forth by the Board of Trustees.
