We offer a vibrant fine arts program to ignite our student’s passions and artistic talents. Find your voice, explore your creativity, and take center stage as you unleash your inner artist at Mount St. Mary Academy!
Music
- Love to perform? MSM was named one of the Best Communities for Music Education by The NAMM Foundation for 2024 and 2025. Our concert band, jazz ensemble, or string ensemble are all part of our curriculum, and give our students the opportunity to soar on stage.
- Want to hone your vocal skills? Get private lessons as part of the curriculum, join the Music Ministry, or audition for the beloved Gemtones vocal performance group.
- March to your own beat! Be part of The Mount St. Mary Academy Marching Band – the only all-girls high school marching band in New York State! Pump up the crowd as part of our Dance Team or Baton Team, or march loud and proud as an instrumentalist!
Arts and Theater
- Express yourself. Take a variety of art electives, from drawing and painting to graphic design and digital photography.
- Showcase your talent! Display your artwork during our annual Fine Arts Week alongside student performances from our concert band.
- Take the stage. Be part of the fall musical alongside talented students from the area, or join the Drama Club to write, direct, produce, and act in your own play! You don’t have to be on the stage to be involved in these productions.
